Being a film, starring Steve Carell and Juliette Binoche.
Being funny and sad and affectionate and about a writer.
Being just as cute as a bug.
Being perfect for rainy Sundays or moments when only something good will do.

i comment only to comment that i cannot generally comment on current cultural references. but your comment is duly noted.
ReplyDeletebut with la binoche in attendance, i feel, surely what's not to love?
[except maybe that film cache, from the pre T days, which i liked but no one else i know did.
just wanted to check how 'you' check (if at all) that you don't post the things you love more than once? or if you ever reflect on this rich data?
ReplyDeletei am grateful for this blog and the fun and joy it has given me.
but.
'i' would feel the need to a colour coded spreadsheet (or somesuch) with various keywords/classifications like 'films', 'books, 'toiletries', 'family', 'friends' etc on what i have posted.
it would then be interesting, as now we have a decent sample to analyse, what the perfect venn diagram would be of things that make you happy. then we could artificially create a 'truman show' world for you only including the things that made you happy. and see if it indeed did make you happy.
we could do it. it is SCIENCE.
i will get my 'very clever' FACT brother to scope out an experiment with bunsen burners, beakers, pipettes and conical flasks of coloured liquids with lots of pipes going between. like you and me remember science. not quarks etc or any of that nonsense.
